Preset Settings

If you want to offer templates on your own website you should add a preset in Preset Settings. A preset is a set of display and not only settings for your template java script section as well as for your template store. The template section/store settings are fully managed via the preset settings. The preset settings are set and updated in Preset Settings. To set or update the settings you should click the Edit button below the preset name

and proceed to a section to edit this particular preset settings - 

This section has links to subsections to edit the template thumbnails display (Layout Settings), the search form css style (Search Settings), set the preset shopping cart discount (up to 10% with your commission), the local currency, and turn off/on the templates prices display (Price Settings), turn on/off shopping the available merchant systems for the preset shopping cart (Turn on/off Merchant Systems), set the shop language, URL, the detailed previews, special offer, shopping cart, and checkout styles (Other Settings), change the delivery page content (Delivery Page Settings), edit the template samples thumbnails style (Samples Layout Settings), change the detailed preview layout and links (Preview Settings), turn on/off TM promo actions when they are available for affiliates (Discounts), edit the clipart library thumbnails display (Clipart Library Layout Settings), set custom colors for the detailed previews (Custom Color Settings), and turn on/off special offers (Turn On/Off Special Offers). 

Layout Settings gives you an option to select a premade (default) skin or add your custom css for the preset thumbnails.

If you want to set a default thumbnail skin click Layout Settings. This will open a new page with 'Choose theme skin' and 'Create/Edit custom skin style' options. Click 'Choose theme skin' and choose one of the default skins that pop up on clicking the 'Choose theme skin' link. Click the chosen default skin image and then click Submit

 If you want to submit the thumbnails custom css also click Layout Settings, then proceed to the next page displaying 'Choose theme skin' and 'Create/Edit custom skin style' options and click the second ('Create/Edit custom skin style') option link.

This will take you to the next page where you should choose one of the default skins first your custom skin will be based on.

As you've chosen and submitted the thumbnail default skin (the custom skin will be based on) press the radio button against the second option ('Edit existing custom skin style'), and click 'Submit.

 

 

 

 

This will load another new page where you actually edit the thumbnail skin CSS and HTML. 

 

 

The following macro values available can be used to edit the thumbnails style: 

{%TEMPLATE_NUMBER } - template number

{%PRICE} - template price

{%URL_TO_IMG} - the template screenshot URL

{%URL_TO_PREVIEW} - the template preview page URL

{%URL_TO_BUY} - the checkout page URL

{%PRICE_EXCLUSIVE} - the template exclusive price

{%DOWNLOADS} - a particular template number of downloads 

{%AUTHOR} - the template author

{%TYPE} - the template type 

{%PRICE_TEXT} - shows the price description (in the language set for the shop preset) 

{%DETAILS_TEXT} - shows  "Details' and 'Price' links to the template detailed preview and shopping cart. 

{%URL_TO_DEMO} - the direct link to the template demo. 

As you've made changes to the thumbnail css and html you can click the "Validate CSS" button and check the code via the CSS validator at w3.org. If the code passes through the validation you should click the "Submit" button to save your settings.

 

Search Settings is an option where you can choose a default or set a custom skin style for the preset search form. 

If you want to choose a default search form skin you should click Search Settings, proceed to the next page, choose a default skin in the 'Choose Skin Theme' option and click 'Submit'. 

If you want to submit your custom search skin style, click 'Create/Edit custom skin style'. This will take you to the next page where you should first choose a default skin your custom skin will be based on.

 

On setting the default skin (your custom skin will be based on) press the radio button against the second option ('Edit existing custom search form style'), and click 'Submit.

 

This will load another new page where you actually edit the search form skin skin CSS and HTML. 

 

 

In Price Settings you can set the preset shopping cart discount (up to 10% with your commission), the local currency and turn off/on the templates prices display.

The preset shopping cart up to 10% discount can be set on making 5 affiliate sales only. The affiliate sales are sales made through your affiliate link or preset shopping cart. Once you've set a preset shopping cart discount the preset shopping cart displays the templates discounted prices. 

The local currency is set in 'Choose the currency:' field. Now we have the following local currencies available: the United States dollar (USD, set by default), the euro (EUR), the Canadian dollar (CAD), the pound sterling (GBP), the Japanese yen (JPY), the Australian dollar (AUD), the Polish zloty (PLN), the Norwegian krone (NOK), the Swedish krona (SEK), the Swiss franc (CHF), the Danish krone (DKK), the Brazilian real (BRL), the Mexican peso (MXN), the Turkish lira (TRY), the Indian rupee (INR).

When unchecking 'Enable prices and an option to buy templates' in Price Settings you hide the template prices and preset shopping cart links in the detailed previews (by default they're enabled for display). If you need to hide the prices and the buy links, uncheck 'Enable prices and an option to buy templates' and click 'Submit'. 

Turn on/off Merchant Systems is a section where you can turn on/off the merchant systems you want your customers to use.

 

Here you can also change the order of the merchant systems displayed on the checkout page. It should be noted that some of the merchant systems can't be turned off by default. By clicking 'Preview' you can check the set merchant systems order in the opened new tab/window. 

 

In Other Settings you can set the preset section/shop  name, URL, language, turn on/off the adult templates category display (it's turned off by default), add own css code for the preset detailed previews, shopping cart, special offers and checkout pages display or just add a route (it should be the absolute URL) to a file with this css uploaded on your (or some other) hosting. 

 

The local languages we now have available for the affiliate program are: Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech,Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian,Italian, Korean, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese. It should also be noted that if your template section or store data are managed on your side (as in case with an RMS2 or a custom api-based store) the preset language setting from Other Settings would work for the shopping cart and checkout pages only (as they’re loaded from us).

In Delivery Page Settings you can

- manage the product delivery page settings (add your company name, enable/disable our live chat, support helpdesk, ticket system links and support phone number display;

- check/uncheck our partner bonuses display or add and check/uncheck the display of the URL to a bonuses page on your site. 

 

 

Samples Layout Settings gives you options to select a default (premade) skin for the sample template thumbnail, create a custom skin based on default (premade) ones, or start from scratch.

 

If you want to set a default thumbnail skin click Samples Layout Settings. This will open a new page with 'Choose theme skin' and 'Create/Edit samples custom skin style' options. Click 'Choose theme skin' and choose one of the default skins that pop up on clicking the 'Choose theme skin' link. Click the chosen default skin image and then click Submit

Preview Settings gives you options to select the detailed preview layout (blocks positions) and manage the detailed preview links display.  

In Layout Settings of Preview Settings you can choose and set one of the 4 available default preview layouts and specify the detailed preview width and height in pixels (optional):

 

In Optional Blocks Settings you can turn on or hide the Help Center, samples, FAQ, and the '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' links; keep or hide template author and number of downloads display and enable/disable the 'Customize This Template' button display (linked to templatetuning.com). 

All these links display is turned on by default. 

 

Discounts is a section where you can turn on/off TemplateMonster's promo actions also available for affiliates. 

Once you've enabled the TM promo action for your preset this preset shopping cart displays the TM discounted prices. If no promo actions are currently available the page shows the 'No category discounts available' message. 

 

Clipart Library Layout Settings gives options to select the clipart thumbnail default skin, create a custom skin based on default  ones, or create a custom skin from scratch.

 

If you want to set a default clipart thumbnail skin click Clipart Library Layout Settings. This will open a new page with 'Choose theme skin' and 'Create/Edit custom skin style' options. Click 'Choose theme skin' and choose one of the default skins that pop up on clicking the 'Choose theme skin' link. Click the chosen default skin image and then click Submit

If you want to submit the clipart thumbnails custom css also click Clipart Library Layout Settings, proceed to the next page displaying 'Choose theme skin' and 'Create/Edit custom skin style' options and click the second ('Create/Edit custom skin style') option link.

 

This will take you to the next page where you should choose one of the default skins first your clipart custom skin will be based on. 

 

As you've chosen and submitted the clipart thumbnail default skin (the custom skin will be based on) press the radio button against the second option ('Edit existing custom skin style'), and click 'Submit.

This will load another new page where you actually edit the thumbnail skin CSS and HTML. 

As you've made changes to the clipart thumbnail css and html you can click the "Validate CSS" button and check the code via the CSS validator at w3.org. If the code passes through the validation you should click the "Submit" button to save your settings.

 

In Custom colors settings you can set your custom colors for the preset detailed previews, shopping cart, special offer, and checkout pages. 

 

 

Use the color picker or specify colors in the HTML format. There's also a link to preview the made color changes. Once you've chosen the custom colors click "Submit". The image below shows what particular detailed preview elements the fields in Custom Color Settings correspond to: 

 

 

 

In Turn on/off Special Offers you can turn on/off special offers provided for you customers (the same ones as on TemplateMonster.com; most of the offers being provided by templatetuning.com). 

 

All the special offers are turned on by default and linked to the template types they are given for. You earn affiliate commission on all special offers enabled for your preset shopping cart. You can choose if to switch on/off all or particular special offers and save your changes by clicking the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page. Please, note that if all special offers are disabled on Turn on/off Special Offers page and therefore you cannot manage them it means you have 'Show customize buttons and special offers' unchecked in the preset Optional Blocks Settings (and thus all special offers display turned off for the preset). If so you need to check 'Show customize buttons and special offers', click 'Submit' and go back to Turn on/off Special Offers manage the special offers display.
